One form that falls within the category of the integral helmet is characteristic of a more rounded chin coverage area and is generally used for walking on the street. This helmet covers the forehead, the upper part and the back of the skull and, therefore, the base of the skull. This design also completely covers and protects the ears, jaw and around the chin.
